Accommodation and Facilities
The main retreat room is a large light room with sofas and plenty of cushions and blankets. It has doors that open onto the south facing front garden and a large fireplace for log fires on chilly days.
Altar spaces provide a place for found treasures, coffee tables for biscuits and snacks. This is where groups meet and where individuals can relax.
Yoga, meditations and other devotions take place here.
Occasionally there may be a day group using the room for an hour or two which often retreat guests can join if they like.
The dining room is where all meals are taken. It is also a reading room outside mealtimes and has comfy chairs and lots of books.
All bedrooms are very comfortable. They are all ensuite with showers, baths or sometimes both.
They have kettles, hospitality trays and hairdryers. Towels, soap and all bedding is provided.
Bedrooms are either shared with one other, or sole occupancy in double or twin rooms.
If you feel like a time with nature and to keep costs down, just a short walk away (around 400m) there is the opportunity to camp in a secluded field by a stream, on the edge of the village. You will need to bring your your own tent/bedding (ask if you don't have one - we may be able to help). There is a compost toilet and basic shower on site. Hot showers available in bad weather. £10 per person per night.
